During the holidays we often find ourselves surrounded by cookies, cakes, candies and other delicious treats. It is very easy to overindulge. Check out a tip below from Matthew D'Aria, RD, on how to enjoy holiday treats without going overboard. And remember, try sticking to your FAVORITE treats, rather than eating something just because it is in front of you.
There is nothing wrong with enjoying food, in fact, food is meant to be enjoyed. The issue we run into is we tend to go overboard with the enjoyment. So, this holiday season, "have your cake and eat it too" but maybe have a slice, or make yourself little sample size portions.
