Weekly 30-minute group walk, followed by a post-walk stretch with Clinical Exercise Physiologist Rachel Trope, MS, CEP
Meet in the lobby at 11:00 am and head down to walk in the parking garage (level B2)
Flat, easy course
Walk for 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes at a pace that is comfortable for you!

Free Yourself from Emotional and Binge Eating
Fridays 12:00 PM- 1:00 PM
Weekly 60-minute group with psychologist Rachel Burnett, PhD
10-12 sessions (with possibility of more based on interest)
Supportive environment to help you identify and change eating and lifestyle challenges
Learn behavioral and cognitive skills to change your relationship with food

Alternating Saturdays at 8:30 am
10-60 minute group walk
Go at your own pace
Whether you want to walk for 3 minutes or 3 miles this group walk is for you. Join the our Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Rachel Trope, MS, CEP and the #WashingtonCenterWalks group every-other Saturday for a morning walk with a side of great conversation and support. All fitness levels are welcome! Pace and distance will vary depending on your specific needs.

Saturday Scoop: Walk Strong – How to Minimize Pain with Movement and Walking

60-minute group led by a different provider each week who will cover a different weight-management related topic such as exercise, adequate protein intake, or coping with emotions

Did you know that knee, hip, foot, and ankle pain can be caused or exacerbated by how you walk and/or the type of shoe you wear? Join clinical exercise physiologist Rachel Trope and physical therapy assistant (and dietician) Matthew D’Aria as they explore methods for minimizing lower body joint pain.
