This Saturday, February 2nd, at 10:00 am, begin the journey of change. Start to love your body.
From not liking the way a pair of pants fit, to avoiding mirrors and reflective surfaces, many people struggle with negative feelings about the way they look. Not only can how we view our bodies impact our emotional state, it can contribute to weight gain or difficulty with weight loss. The good news is, we don’t have to feel this way. By slowly changing the way we think about our bodies, we can start to feel better! Please join clinical psychologist Rachel Burnett, PhD to learn skills that address your own body image concerns in a warm, supportive environment.
What is Saturday Scoop? If you’ve never been to Saturday Scoop, every Saturday one of our amazing clinicians leads a 1-hour interactive group (10:00 am to 11:00 am) that cover a variety of health or weight related topics. In February, we will explore why exercising on a regular basis is so difficult, work on changing how we think about our food and body image, and explore the world of obesity medication.
