Self-care can happen in micro-moments

Sometimes our days are so busy we feel we don’t even have time to breathe, much less intentionally engage in self-care.

We can still create moments to take care of ourselves and break from the stress of the day.

Good self-care is crucial for lifestyle change and weight loss - it underlies almost everything we teach at WCWMR.

Quick, Easy and Simple Self-Care Ideas

  • Take 3 deep breaths while waiting for a meeting to start

  • Roll your shoulders forward and backwards while waiting for the elevator

  • Repeat “Calm”, “Peace”, or a similar soothing word while in line at the grocery store

  • Take 10 seconds to look out your window at the sky
