Change happens. Whether it’s seasonal change, schedule changes, work, travel or any of the other ebbs and flows of life, these changes can be challenging for regular exercise. It is all too easy to put exercise on the back burner. We then set arbitrary deadlines to get “back on track.” I’ll start exercising again when the kids get settled in school, or when work calms down, or (one of our favorites) after the new year. The secret is, there is nothing magical about these deadlines, and they often come and go with exercise getting pushed back (yet again) because of a NEW change or challenge that arises. Rather than waiting for the "perfect" time to begin an exercise program, why not focus on changing your exercise to fit whatever life has in store for you at this moment?
