Saturday Scoop 9.28.19 Maintenance Phase of Weight Management: What Is It and How Can I Manage Its Challenges?

September 23, 2019

Once people have achieved a desired weight loss and lifestyle that is sustainable for them, they enter the “maintenance phase” of weight management. This phase has its own goals and challenges that are different from the weight loss phase. Whether you are currently continuing to lose or have reached your maintenance phase, it can be helpful to educate yourself about this stage. Please join clinical psychologist Rachel Burnett, PhD for a discussion of what this phase looks like and some ideas to help manage its challenges successfully.

What is Saturday Scoop? If you’ve never been to Saturday Scoop, every Saturday one of our amazing clinicians leads a 1-hour interactive group (10:00 am to 11:00 am) that cover a variety of health or weight related topics. Each sessions involves new information and a group discussion.
