Holiday Tip: Have Your Cake and Eat it Too!

This time of year there are cookies and cakes around every corner. This can be challenging if you are trying to manage your weight. Holiday parties are especially tricky! Registered dietitian, Matthew D'Aria, suggests when confronted with numerous deserting choices, try making a "sample plate" of your favorite deserts, skipping the others. Taking mini pieces of each will allow you to have the desserts you want, without all the guilt. Make sure you find a place to sit, taste, and ENJOY the deserts you chose. Have your cake, and eat it too!
