Effective immediately, in an abundance of caution for our patients and staff, the Washington Center will be moving to virtual appointments for the near future. We are in the process of setting up a telehealth system where our providers can meet with you virtually, but this will take us a couple of days to get that setup. If you are scheduled for an in-person appointment scheduled for either today or Wednesday, you will be getting a call to reschedule for later in the week. If you have a phone appointment, you will not be affected, and your appointment will go on as scheduled. Please understand that your insurance may or may not cover telehealth appointments.
Group and Saturday Scoop sessions are on hold until further notice.
We don’t have all of the details hammered out yet but wanted to communicate our intentions as soon as was possible. We will keep you updated as we go.
Please follow the CDC social distancing guidelines as much as is possible. The CDC has a very informative website explaining the situation and offering guidance. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html
Don’t hesitate to contact Michelle Vaughan at mvaughan@wtmgmt.com if you have questions about the Center’s plan. Thank you for doing your part to help curb the spread of this virus. This is a great time to focus on taking care of ourselves, our family, our neighbors, and our community.
