Back to Basics; Movement and Exercise

April 10, 2020

For many folks, being at home has had a major impact on daily movement. Yet movement of any type may be tremendously helpful right now - not just for physical health, but mental health as well (and perhaps even more so!)  Check out a note from Rachel Trope, our exercise physiologist, on remembering to move and basic ways to do so!

Looking for additional exercise to do on your own?

Check out these four simple exercise videos, with movements appropriate for most fitness levels, courtesy of Rachel:

Squat

Push-up

Bird-dog

Lateral bound

Do them individually, or build them into a workout plan - a great example is the Deck of Cards workout where you can use each exercise as one of the card suits.

Enjoy some movement today!
